The first of our four gorgeous European destinations, Tromso is unparalleled in the likes of charming wooden houses and picturesque cathedrals. With the possibility of basking in the Northern Lights, this arctic heaven is a Your Endless Travel must! Auroras dance along with the skies and light up this enchanting Nordic city.
Who wouldn’t want to be stranded in the Indian Ocean? Kuramathi is an unreal location for those looking to bask in some winter sun. Sunbathe along white-sand shores where rich blue waters blanket the coast. With an average temperature of 29 °C, the Maldives are the perfect region to get your winter sun fix!
4. Lapland, Finland and Fuerteventura, Canary Islands
Lapland’s scenery is just unmatched. Picture endless panoramas of fresh chalk snow lightly reflecting the pastel sky tones as the sunsets over white kissed forestry. Also known for its festive relation to Santa and his elves (which entertains the joyous nostalgia in the most grinch of us all!)
The Canary Isles are the almost perfect match for a winter getaway. With the whole archipelago benefitting from a mix of Mediterranean and tropical climate, you will be sure to get your hours in! Fuerteventura made our top picks due to it boasting the longest coastline – an impressive 1730km. Also known as ‘the Calm Island’, you can benefit from Christmas relaxation all whilst sipping a cocktail on the beach. Merry Christmas am I right?
5. The Dolomites, Italy and Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka
A surprisingly sun-kissed region, the Dolomites stretch over 15,900 km ² and are home to 12 ski resorts and 7 UNESCO world heritage sites.
