Sample Itinerary

Day 1: Fly from the UK to Miami, Florida. You have a range of options to fly with British Airways or Virgin Atlantic from London Heathrow/Gatwick or Manchester direct. On arrival in Miami, you will collect your rental car and travel to your first accommodation in Islamorada. You will likely arrive late afternoon so take the evening to get to know your new surroundings. 

Overnight: Double Classic Garden View Room at Postcard Inn Beach Resort and Marina

Day 2 & 3: You have a few days to relax and explore your new surroundings. Famous for its fishing and scuba diving, we cannot recommend getting out in or on the water surrounding Islamorada. Whether that's strapping a tank to your back to swimming with the local marine life or feel the sun on your back while catching a whopper you will have an amazing time in this area of The Keys.

Day 4 to 6: After you have checked you, jump in your car and head to the last stop along the Overseas Highway, Key West. Along the way feel free to explore the Lower Keys, particularly at Bahia Honda State Park. Featuring an award-winning beach and historic bridge, Bahia Honda State Park has been voted as one of the top ten beaches in the US. This state park offers a beach/picnic area for the entire family with gift shop, snack bar, kayak rentals, daily snorkeling tours to the protected Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary. Once you arrive in Key West, stroll along Mallory Square and enjoy the nightly Sunset Celebration with arts and crafts exhibitors, street performers, food carts and psychics. The Mallory Square Sunset Performers put on a show every night, 365 days a year and it is free. Also, make sure you try the world-renowned Key Lime Pie while you are in town!

Overnight: Standard Room at The Gates Hotel Key West

Day 7: Today, you will say goodbye to The Keys and prepare for the next step of your adventure. You will drive the length of the Overseas Highway (approx 3.5-4 hours) to Miami port, where you will meet your new home for the next 7 nights aboard the brand new Royal Caribbean, Icon Of The Sea.

Day 14: Unfortunately, the day has come to say goodbye to your crew. We will arrange a transfer to collect your from the cruise terminal and transfer you to Miami Airport. After dropping your bags off, you can board your flight and head home. Flights from Miami back to the UK are usually overnight.
